About our business
We launched our business in 2011 after making a lifestyle change to start a family and create a more flexible way of working. Choosing what to do next came naturally as we were already spending all our free time with our first dog, Heno and loved taking him everywhere with us. Working with animals wasn’t just a business idea; it was (and still is) a true passion.
As an outdoor-loving family, our dogs have always been part of our adventures. Our current dog, Koopa, has proudly followed in Heno’s pawprints and enjoys everything from camping and surfing to canoeing and hiking just to name a few!
Now that our children are a bit older, they’ve also caught the adventure bug, and they love getting involved in the business. Whether it's helping to deliver pet food during school holidays or lending a hand at local events, they're an enthusiastic part of our little team. They've even expanded our pet family with the addition of our budgies, Echo and Mango, along with some tropical fish, and if they had their way, we'd probably have a whole lot more!

Our Team
Rachel
I'm the driving force (quite literally!) behind the day to day running of the business. With a Certa Level 3 Certificate in Companion Animal Nutrition, I bring knowledge and a genuine love for animals to everything I do.
From offering friendly, one-to-one consultations to helping customers find the right food for their pets, I'm always happy to share advice and support. I keep track of when customers might be running low and I get in touch with a helpful nudge in time for their next delivery.
Each week, I plan the delivery routes and I set off in the van, bringing orders (and plenty of tail wags) to homes across the area. I also take care of payments and make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
My favourite part of the job? Meeting all the wonderful pets on my rounds and catching up on what they’ve been up to since my last visit. It’s those little moments of connection that make it all worthwhile.

Andy
I help out with stock deliveries, unloading the heavy bags and making sure everything is put away neatly in the store. I keep the stock room clean and organised so it’s easy to find what’s needed.
I'm also in charge of keeping the company accounts up to date and I give a hand at local events, helping to set up and run the stall when we’re out and about in the community.
William & Bethan
Our children, William and Bethan, love to get involved during the school holidays by helping with deliveries. They’re always happy to lend a hand at local fetes and village days too, where you’ll often find us all together running the stall and chatting to people about what we do.
Alongside our dog Koopa, they take their product testing duties very seriously making sure everything gets his seal of approval before we recommend it to our customers!
Koopa
Meet Koopa, the inspiration behind our name and our much-loved Chief Taste Tester. He’s an English Springer Spaniel with boundless energy, a curious spirit, and just a hint of mischief (especially when it comes to sneaking upstairs when no one’s watching!).
Nothing gets past Koopa, if he hasn’t given it the paw of approval, it doesn’t make it to our customers. He takes his role seriously, making sure everything we offer is up to his high standards.
When he’s not busy sampling treats or keeping an eye on things, you’ll find Koopa out exploring the Hertfordshire countryside with his best friend, Ginny. Their favourite walks are the ones where the humans take a wrong turn, it just means more time to sniff, run, and play!
Koopa brings joy, fun, and a wagging tail to everything we do. After all, it really is his choice.
